Advisory Board for the R2B Project

The Advisory Board for the Research to Business project has been appointed and will hold its first meeting in mid-June. The composition of the Board brings us long-term and solid expertise in the operations of heavy industry and insights into the renewal of the industry.
Ari Nieminen, Decades of experience leading Andritz's business division focused on chemical recovery cycles in the pulp industry, and former deputy CEO role at Andritz.
Heikki Ilvespää, Decades of experience in leading research and development activities in publicly traded companies, including positions at Valmet, Metso, and UPM.
Stefan Lindfors, Currently the Technology Director at Finnsementti (a CRH Company based in Finland) with extensive experience in leadership roles within the cement industry.
Jukka Isometsä, Works in business development for Air Liquide in the Nordic countries. Air Liquide is a global market leader in the production, distribution, and refinement of industrial gases.
Antti Arasto, Acts as the Director of Energy and Hydrogen Industries at VTT and is a member of the Finnish Climate Panel.
Antti Pirnes, Serves as the IPR Manager at VTT, with a focus on issues related to the commercialization of new innovations at the LaunchPad business incubator.
Kari Kuokkanen. Works as a Senior Business Advisor at Business Finland.
Research to Business funding from Business Finland

Our business idea and related commercialization activities received funding from Business Finland. This support enables us to develop multiple concepts across different business areas and validate the most promising ones in collaboration with future partners.
The amount of funding was over €600,000, which allows us to operate until the end of 2025.
